A Pilot Program will run In 2025 that awards user-driven research with the aim to establish new engagements.

Call for proposals is now closed for 2025 run time. For additional information, or to prepare for 2026 run time, please contact us.

Proposals are for use of facility resources (most facilities will offer time between June and September, the exact time depends on the facility and the proposed experiment).

New engagements eligible under BeamNetUS are expected to be of the order of a week of activity.

Proposals will be peer reviewed and the highest rated proposals offered time at the facilities. The facility costs will be covered by BeamNetUS.

  • Please read through the BeamNetUS handbook to understand what BeamNetUS is, who we are, who is eligible to apply, and how to get started! The handbook gives an overview of the whole process and lets you know what to expect when you come to one of our facilities. Key to get started is to check what facilities we have using the resources on these pages and to contact the designated point of contact at the facility. They can check that your understanding of the capabilities is correct and a good match for what you want to do. Once you’ve decided to submit a proposal, get the template from this page and complete it!
